I was raised in an Italian family where home grown food, a good compost pile
and a love for gardening were an integral part of growing up. My current work
has returned me to these inspiring roots.

My passion for native landscape habitats has intensified my focus on gardening
with environmental stewardship in mind. I am a life-long gardener. I believe that
it is possible to grow beautiful gardens where people, plants and wildlife thrive
together in a healthy setting. Most days you can find me knee-deep in dirt with
a camera or a trowel, gathering inspiration for my work.

I’ve completed courses in Garden Design and am a graduate of the Certificates in
Ornamental Horticulture program at Longwood Gardens. I am a member of Garden
Writers Association and a recipient of their Electronic Media Award for Photography.

My most recent fine art photographs are large format, digitally imaged horticultural
studies. Prints from this Botanica series were featured in exhibitions at the Perkins
Center for the Arts and the Philadelphia Sketch Club. Other works have appeared in
juried exhibits and national magazines, including Martha Stewart Weddings.

I love my work as a photographer, teacher, writer and garden coach and I want my
passion for native plants and gardens to heal, inspire and cultivate a better world!
